You do not have to catch up on everything at once
After substance use stops, unfinished questions may remain at work, at home and in relationships. The wish to address everything quickly is understandable. Start by distinguishing what needs attention now and what can wait.
Choose a question for the near future
How will an ordinary evening work? Which working action needs doing? With whom should an agreement be discussed? A specific question supports a manageable step rather than a promise to transform your entire life.
Notice habitual responses
Self-reflection can help you notice responses to pressure, rejection and uncertainty. Coaching connects that observation to decisions and actions. Selected twelve-step tools can be used where appropriate; participation in a community remains a separate source of support.
Do not replace support with an achievement plan
A new goal should not automatically displace help you need. This coaching programme does not treat addiction or promise to prevent a return to substance use. Medical questions belong with the relevant professionals.
When you can enquire
The minimum for this programme is one month of sobriety. Before starting, we discuss the goal and whether the format fits. The work may concern daily structure, relationships, professional decisions and personal goals.
