Life in Sobriety: Work, Relationships and Daily Structure
An illustration of coaching after stopping substance use, available from one month of sobriety.
Free time is harder than expected
The person in this example has been sober for more than a month and keeps the support they need. Evenings remain difficult to organise. There is an urge to catch up quickly on career, money and relationships, and plans multiply faster than they can be carried out.
We choose one practical focus: a steadier week and a return to a working responsibility, rather than a promise to transform everything.
What we work on
We examine habitual responses to pressure, decision-making and actual commitments. Suitable self-reflection and twelve-step tools are connected to specific actions.
The scale matters. Trying to address everything at once can turn a reasonable plan into another burden. We test smaller changes and review how they work.
One possible development
In this fictional example, the week becomes more predictable. The person follows through on selected commitments and makes a working decision without trying to repair the entire past at once. This is a possible narrative, not a guarantee of continued sobriety.
Coaching does not replace addiction treatment, psychotherapy or community support. Enquiries are accepted from one month of sobriety.
